    Narputta was a Pintupi artist related to several of the original "painting men" from Papunya. After gaining initial experience working with her husband, Timmy Jugadai, she became a leading artist for Ikuntji Women's Centre in Haasts Bluff.

    ​Narputta's work has featured in exhibitions at the Campbelltown Arts Centre and the Museum of contemporary Aboriginal art. This painting is inspired by her birth place Karrkurutjintja, in Western Australia.
