Last month I made a visit to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, to see the Taba Naba exhibition - a collection of Aboriginal and Oceanic art curated by Stéphane Jacob. I have been surprised by how many galleries in Europe focus on Aboriginal art, and even more surprised when I realised Prince Albert also has a collection. The exhibition featured some wonderful pieces, and greeting you at the entrance is the Bagu and Malu Githalal installation making use of recycled materials highlighting their effect on the environment, and the roof of the museum now features an installation by Alick Tipot.
