New exhibition - 'Dreamtime | Australian Aboriginal Art

We are delighted to announce that our next exhibition 'Dreamtime | Australian Aboriginal Art' will take place at Linlithgow Burgh Halls, in Scotland. It opens on the 25th January - 7th April. This will be our largest exhibition to date, showing 58 works across 3 beautiful rooms. 'The Stone of Dreamtime' | Visiting Ancient Ochre Pits

I visited these amazingly beautiful Ochre Pits in the MacDonnell ranges before I left Alice springs. Known as the 'Stone of Dreamtime', Aboriginal people have extracted Ochre from these cliffs for thousands of years. The Rainbow Serpent myths are some of the most important stories in Aboriginal culture. These stories are part of 'Dreamtime' or 'The dreaming', they are the creation myths of the aboriginal people.
